All boys in the Junior School (11-14) are given an introduction to riding, with  three initial lessons.

Those boys who wish to take further tuition are charged extra for lessons, offered once a week by our riding instructor, Colonel Jean-Francois Leroux, formerly Equerry of the Cadre Noir, France’s elite riding school.

Riding lessons take place in Chavagnes, a few minutes from the College.

Boys who take regular lessons are entered for the ‘Galops’ of the Fédération française d’équitation (FFE). Some of our pupils have reached the 9th Galop, the highest award in the series.
