Mr McDermott

MA, MEd, PGCE, FRSA, FCCT Headmaster of Chavagnes International College, Mr. McDermott has been a teacher of English literature and French at GCSE and A-level since 2002.

Mr Long

BA (Liberal Arts), BTeach. (Secondary) Deputy Headmaster and Head of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning, Mr. Long has been a teacher of Religious Education, English and History since 2012, teaching in three countries. He is an examiner with AQA for Religious Education.

Mrs M’Crystal-Fletcher

PGDBA, MOTP, PGDSI
With a wealth of experience in neuroscience, Paediatric Occupational Therapy, tutoring and coaching students of all ages, Mrs M’Crystal-Fletcher is our Learning Support Coordinator. She is also beginning her second year at Chavagnes, teaching Sciences and English as a Foreign Language.

Mr Martland

BA (Cantab.), Dip. SEND Teaching Mr Martland joins us this year as our resident Historian, with a passion for Medieval History, Philosophy and Heraldry. His papers on Political History have been published and presented at international symposia. Mr Martland has tutored individual students and small groups in History and Economics, both online and in-person.

Mr Marshall

BA (Hons.) Classics, MSt (Distinction) Mr Marshall joins us from The Oratory School in Oxfordshire, where he has been teaching GCSE Mathematics, Theology and Latin. He has a keen interest in the Antiquities, and a real enjoyment of teaching mathematics. Mr Marshall has also privately tutored students from a range of ages and abilities online and in-person.
