Congratulations to Marya, Drew, Jake, Benjamin and Daniel who all passed their final exams for the first session of the Chavagnes/ICES Liberal Arts course. End of the first session examinations for our five brave STUDIUM students. Tomorrow Mathematics, then Monday and Tuesday: History, Theology and Literature. They have also written a Philosophy term paper.
In October 2018 , the Studium made a visit a to Sicily, via Rome and Paris. In Sicily, the focus was on three ancient Hellenic sites: Agrigento, Selinunte and Segesta. In their first oral exams in December the students will relate their studies in Greek literature, history, philosophy and mathematics to the sites they visited.

Lessons are well underway for the new BA in the Liberal Arts at Chavagnes, with lessons in French at the local Catholic university of the Vendée.
